Article Withdrawl Policy
Article Withdrawal Policy
UnivColl International Multidisciplinary Research Journal (UIMRJ) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics, research integrity, and academic accountability. To uphold the sanctity of the scholarly record, we follow a transparent and rigorous protocol for manuscript withdrawal, retraction, and corrections.
1. Policy Purpose & Commitment
Our policy is designed to protect the integrity of multidisciplinary research and align with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) best practices. We ensure:
Pre-Publication Withdrawal (Author-Initiated)
Authors retain the right to request the withdrawal of their manuscript at any stage prior to formal acceptance. To maintain the integrity of the peer-review process, UIMRJ follows a strictly documented protocol for such requests.
Formal Request Process
A formal written request, signed by the corresponding author with explicit consent from all co-authors, must be submitted directly to the Editorial Office via email.
Ethical & Valid Grounds
Withdrawal is permitted for legitimate reasons such as the discovery of significant errors, funding constraints, or unintentional duplicate submissions identified before review.
Official Status Confirmation
A manuscript is only officially categorized as "Withdrawn" after the Editorial Office issues a formal confirmation letter. Silent withdrawal is not recognized.
Editorial-Initiated Withdrawal & Retraction
In accordance with COPE Retraction Guidelines, UIMRJ reserves the right to take decisive action against manuscripts that compromise the sanctity of the global scholarly record. Our editorial office operates with a zero-tolerance policy toward academic malpractice.
Plagiarism & Misconduct
Immediate withdrawal upon detection of plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification verified via Turnitin/iThenticate during any stage of the editorial process.
Ethical Breaches
Detection of major ethical approval discrepancies, failure to disclose potential conflicts of interest, or violation of institutional research norms.
Post-Publication Retraction
If serious errors or misconduct are identified post-publication, a formal "Retraction Notice" will be issued. The original article will remain accessible but clearly watermarked as "RETRACTED" to maintain the permanent citation record and metadata transparency.
Indexing, DOI & Metadata Integrity
To maintain the absolute stability of the global academic record, UIMRJ implements a high-integrity metadata management system. We ensure that every scholarly contribution is tracked, preserved, and indexed with precision.
DOI Persistence Shield
The DOI (10.65919) assigned to the article remains permanent and active. This prevents "Ghost Citations" and ensures long-term link stability across all global research databases.
Metadata & Version Control
Withdrawn manuscripts are removed from the indexing flow. Retracted articles remain indexed with clear, machine-readable labels for Google Scholar to maintain archival transparency.
OAI-PMH Metadata Harvesting
All status changes are instantly reflected in our OAI-PMH metadata harvest. This enables global discoverability and real-time synchronization with international library systems and academic repositories.
Accessibility & User Experience (UX)
Our infrastructure is engineered to ensure that UIMRJ policies are not only transparent but also universally accessible. We prioritize a seamless experience for both human researchers and automated Indexing Bots.
Advanced Structured Markup
We utilize Schema.org vocabulary to provide structured data signals to search engines, ensuring 100% policy transparency and high Google Search Visibility.
Public & Semantic Labeling
Withdrawal and retraction statements are explicitly labeled with publicly visible and screen-reader compatible tags to support WCAG accessibility standards.
