We strictly adhere to the ethical principles and dispute-handling recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to provide a clear, structured mechanism for addressing concerns from authors, reviewers, and the global research community.
1. Scope of Complaints
UIMRJ formally accepts and investigates complaints that impact the scholarly record or editorial neutrality.
Formal Appeal Procedure (For Authors)
Authors who believe their manuscript was rejected unfairly or due to technical misunderstanding may submit a formal, evidence-based appeal. At UIMRJ, we ensure that every appeal is evaluated with academic rigor and objective neutrality.
Submission Requirements
- Unique Manuscript ID and Title.
- A detailed justification addressing the rejection.
- Specific evidence against the reviewers' concerns.
Submission Timeline
To maintain the pace of scholarly communication, appeals should be submitted within 15 days of the official editorial decision.
Investigation & Resolution Process
To ensure Indexing Readiness and absolute editorial transparency, UIMRJ follows a structured 5-step confidential procedure. This framework ensures that every scholarly concern is handled with unbiased academic rigor.
Formal Acknowledgment
Receipt of the complaint is formally confirmed via the Editorial Office within 5 working days.
Preliminary Assessment
An initial review is conducted by the Editorial Office to determine if the complaint has merit for a full-scale investigation.
Deep Investigation
Examination of records and consultation with independent Editorial Board members (neutral to the original decision) following COPE flowcharts.
Final Decision
A reasoned written response, detailing the investigation's rationale, is provided to the complainant within 21 working days.
Executive Escalation
If unresolved, the matter is escalated to the Publisher, Chandan Kumar, or the Chief Editor for a final verdict based strictly on academic merit.

Non-Retaliation Policy
UIMRJ guarantees a Safe-Reporting Environment. Complainants will face no discrimination or academic retaliation for raising legitimate ethical concerns.
