Retraction Policy
Our Commitment to the Scholarly Record
UnivColl International Multidisciplinary Research Journal (UIMRJ) is dedicated to maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and transparency of the scholarly record. To ensure the highest ethical standards, we follow a rigorous and transparent Retraction Policy aligned with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and international best practices in academic publishing.
1. Purpose & Core Principles
The primary objective of retraction is not to punish authors but to safeguard the integrity of multidisciplinary research by correcting the literature and alerting readers to unreliable content.
Grounds for Retraction
In accordance with COPE Retraction Guidelines, UIMRJ will consider retracting a publication under the following confirmed conditions to ensure the accuracy and reliability of multidisciplinary research.
Scientific Flaws & Data Integrity
Detection of clear evidence that the findings are unreliable due to major honest error, intentional data fabrication, or falsification of experimental results.
Plagiarism & Research Misconduct
Identification of substantial unattributed copying, duplicate publication (redundancy), or fraudulent activities during the peer-review process.
Ethical Breaches & Approvals
Lack of mandatory institutional ethical approval for human/animal research, absence of informed consent, or undisclosed conflicts of interest.
Authorship & Identity Misconduct
Unauthorized inclusion or exclusion of authors, including cases of Ghost, Guest, or Honorary authorship that violate COPE transparency norms.
Formal Retraction Procedure
To ensure Metadata Stability and Indexing Readiness, UIMRJ follows a structured 5-step process designed to maintain the highest levels of academic discoverability and trust.
Initial Assessment
The Editorial Office conducts a preliminary review of the allegation to verify its validity and scope.
Formal Investigation
Comprehensive evidence collection and formal notification to authors, allowing a fair window for their response.
Ethical Evaluation
In-depth review based on COPE flowcharts and authenticated documented proof to determine the final status.
Final Decision
Approval of the retraction is granted by the Chief Editor only after an objective and transparent due process.
Public Notice & DOI Linkage
Publication of a formal Retraction Notice, permanently linked to the original article via its unique DOI (10.65919).
Article Status & Digital Permanence
To uphold the sanctity of the academic ecosystem, UIMRJ ensures that retracted content is handled with absolute transparency. We maintain the citation record while clearly marking the status of the research for the global scholarly community.
Watermarked Archival Record
The original PDF and HTML versions remain accessible but are permanently watermarked as "RETRACTED" to maintain citation traceability and prevent misleading future research.
Permanent Notice Linkage
A formal retraction notice stating the reason and initiator is permanently linked to the article via its unique DOI (10.65919).
Indexing Continuity & Metadata Flow
Retraction status is communicated to Google Scholar and CrossRef through machine-readable metadata. This ensures transparency across all global databases and prevents "silent removal" of records.
